How long should I allow for Ngorongoro Crater?
A full crater day works best with a nearby overnight before it. A day trip from Arusha can be possible for travellers with limited time, but it is an active long day; we will be clear about that before recommending it.
Is Ngorongoro better with Tarangire or Lake Manyara?
They add different things. Tarangire brings elephants, baobabs and open country. Lake Manyara brings forest and escarpment habitat. The best pairing depends on your time, wildlife priorities and the kind of contrast you want across the safari.
