Arusha to Lake Manyara: forest game drives and a full private safari day
Your private driver-guide collects you early in Arusha and travels toward Lake Manyara with enough time allowed for the road, a comfort stop and park formalities. The safari begins as soon as you enter the park, moving through the groundwater forest where the light, shade and pace of the drive feel very different from Tanzania’s open plains. Your guide reads the road and conditions, looking for wildlife signs, birdlife and the shifts between forest, open clearings and the lake-edge environment. The day is not run as a rigid circuit.
