The journey

A short route, properly edited.

A shorter safari still deserves a properly designed route. For 3 Days Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Serval Excursion, the route is deliberately paced through Arusha, Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serval Wildlife Sanctuary. The focus is on a small number of strong experiences and sensible travel times, so you spend more of the itinerary in the landscapes you came to see. Each stop is chosen for what it adds to the journey.

Private guiding keeps the day flexible, and we can adjust the accommodation level to make the limited time feel comfortable, personal and worthwhile. 3 Days Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Serval Excursion can be refined around your dates, room requirements and the experiences you want to prioritise.

Day by day

The pace of the route.

Each day is intentionally balanced between meaningful time in the field and the space to enjoy your stay.

Day 01

Arusha Pick-up & Tarangire National Park

Your private driver-guide will meet you directly at Arusha Airport to kickstart your journey. We head out to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing amid ancient baobabs and massive elephant family groups. Following a scenic packed lunch overlooking the Tarangire River basin, we track migratory herds across the plains. In the late afternoon, we transition to the Karatu highlands to unwind at Marera Valley Lodge for an elegant dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02

Ngorongoro Crater Exploration & Maasai Boma

We make an early morning descent into the spectacular 600-meter-deep caldera of the Ngorongoro Crater. This enclosed ecosystem provides an unmatched theater for viewing predators, including prides of lions and hyenas, alongside a high probability of spotting the rare black rhino. After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, we ascend the crater rim and visit an authentic Maasai boma for a cultural immersion. We conclude the day at Under the Shade lodge for your final night.

Day 03

Serval Wildlife interaction & Airport Drop-off

Following breakfast, we transfer to the exclusive Serval Wildlife Sanctuary. Spend an unforgettable morning interacting with and hand-feeding the resident giraffes, elands, and magnificent birds in an intimate environment. After a premium hosted lunch at the sanctuary, your driver-guide will transfer you smoothly to the airport for your departure flight.

Before you decide

Useful answers, without the sales pressure.

Are these prices the total cost of the trip?

No. The figures above are planning ranges per person, per day—not a fixed trip total. Your proposal will reflect the exact season, route, accommodation choice and number of travellers.

Can I mix mid-range, luxury and high-end stays?

Yes. Many excellent journeys combine levels of accommodation intentionally: for example, an accessible lodge on arrival, a more immersive camp in the Serengeti, then a standout final stay.

Are the accommodation options always available?

Availability changes with season and lead time. We show three appropriate starting points for each destination, then recommend live options that match your dates and room requirements.

Can this itinerary be adapted for my dates and interests?

Absolutely. The structure is a considered starting point. We can adjust the pace, add nights, change regions, add a beach extension or refine the balance between wildlife, culture and rest.
